Shopkr is built so that there is very little to protect. The less it holds, the less can go wrong.

What Shopkr never has

This is not a promise about restraint. There is no technical path by which Shopkr could reach any of the above.

What Shopkr stores

DataWhyRetention
Preferred storeSo it does not ask every timeUntil you change it
Monthly lookup counterTo apply the monthly limitReset on the 1st of each month
A one-way hash of your wallet addressTo tell one allowance from another, and to read your $SHOPKR balanceReset with the counter
Product price observationsTo build price historyOngoing — about products, not about you

Price observations record a product, a store, a price and a time. They contain nothing identifying who asked.

About wallet addresses. If your assistant manages a wallet for you, it sends the address so the right monthly allowance can be applied. Shopkr does not store that address. It stores a one-way hash of it — a fixed-length code the address cannot be recovered from — used only as the name of a counter.

What is never stored together. A wallet address is pseudonymous in theory and often public in practice, tied to a name or a social profile. So the counter records how many lookups an allowance has used, and never which products were looked up. The two are kept in separate places and are never written side by side — there is nothing to link a person to what they searched for, including for us.

The current $SHOPKR balance of an address is read from the public blockchain, where it is already visible to anyone. It is kept only as a tier name, for up to a day.

Public conversations

Shopkr is often used on X and in group chats. It treats any conversation whose privacy is uncertain as public, and will not surface your preferred store or your earlier questions there.

Your assistant

Shopkr runs inside an AI assistant, which has its own privacy terms covering your conversations. Those terms are separate from this policy, and worth reading.

Third parties

Shopkr queries third-party product data providers. Those requests concern products, not people, and carry no identifying information about you.

Links may include an affiliate identifier so that qualifying purchases are attributed to Shopkr. That tells us a purchase happened; it does not tell us who you are or what you bought.
